Advice: When Disbarred, Stop Practicing Law

Allen Feingold, from Philadelphia, teaches us a valuable lesson about the practice of law. Once you are no longer an attorney, it is advisable to stop practicing law.
After five-years worth of suspensions and an eventual disbarment in August 2008, Allen Feingold was still refusing to comply with the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s order as he continued to practice law and failed to notify clients of his disbarment, according to orders in the case.
The Office of Disciplinary Counsel had to lock Feingold out of his Philadelphia law office, where he was using another lawyer’s letterhead and ID number to continue his practice. Really Mr. Feingold? Really?
